The F-14 Tomcat was among the first flight simulators available on PCs and other consoles. In the game, players have two main options. The first is training, where you learn to coordinate with your air team, and the second is action, where you undertake missions around the globe. These missions typically involve shooting down enemy fighters or aircraft carriers. Occasionally, you will also be tasked with security missions aimed at protecting and safely escorting an allied bomber or aircraft. What kind of military fighter would it be without an extensive arsenal? During missions, you can rely on Phoenix-Amraam air-to-air missiles, Sidewinder short-range air-to-air missiles, or the Cannon, which only hits targets in close proximity. Additionally, you have the option to deploy decoy targets to mislead enemy missiles when you are in danger. You can maneuver the fighter as you wish, regulating its speed, performing pirouettes, or executing a 180° turn to fly upside down. You may even eject during an emergency, but doing so will result in you facing a military court.
